FAQs

• How can photos be added to the mosaic?
  Photos can be contributed to your mosaic from a cellular device, laptop or desktop computer, photo booth, or social media hashtag. Pictures posted to Instagram or Twitter using pre-selected hashtags are automatically added to your mosaic.
• How long can I keep my mosaic?
  We’ll host your mosaic online for one year. We can provide you with a unique HTML code containing all the mosaic’s pictures and contributions that is yours to permanently keep.
• What timeframe will my contributors be able to share to my mosaic?
  There are some events where contributors only submit photos for 30 minutes at the beginning of a Zoom call. You can have it run as long as you would like. In some cases this is months or possibly even years. It is ideal to allocate at least one week for the submission process in order to allow enough time to send one or two share reminders to your contributors.
• How do my contributors know that their photo has been added to the mosaic?
  A confirmation email is sent with a link to the location of their photo in the mosaic.
• How long do I have to wait for photos to be added to the mosaic?
  Photos are added to the mosaic immediately unless photo monitoring has been turned on. In this case, the photo instantly shows up once it is approved.
• How can I monitor the photos in my mosaic?
  We provide a photo moderation tool. After a photo is placed into the mosaic, this tool allows an administrator to approve or reject photos from the mosaic in real-time. Our easy moderation flow allows you to review and approve each picture that ends up in your mosaic. You can control all of your mosaic’s contributions.
• What if there aren’t enough photos to complete my mosaic?
  The system will duplicate any existing tiles in order to finalize your piece. No matter what, you will have a completed Mosaic Masterpiece.
• How many photos can be added to the Mosaic?
  Available sizes are 195 photos, 405 photos, 768 photos, 1200 photos, or custom sized.
• What type of user data will I be provided?
  We gather your contributor user data. You will be granted direct access to this information from Day One. This information can be downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet.
• Can I embed the Mosaic on my website?
  Yes, we will send you a custom iFrame code which allows you to embed the mosaic on your website.
• How long is the production process for my mosaic and what it includes?
  The entire production process can be completed in about five business days or less after you provide the graphics. It includes:
  – A kickoff call
  – Gathering of graphics and branded text
  – Fully operational mock-up with stock images to see how the final mosaic will look once it is finished.
  – Mosaic updates as per your feedback
  – Go Live
• How do I incorporate my logo or branding into the mosaic?
  You select the photo you’d like us to use for your Mosaic Masterpiece, which can feature your company logo or branding assets. You have the option of adding your own custom overlay to the photo uploads. Guests are also greeted with a welcome screen inviting them to contribute to the mosaic. We can design your mosaic welcome screen with your logo and branding assets or any design and content of your choice.
• Does Virtual Photo Mosaic work on cellular devices?
  Yes, it has a dedicated mobile interface and a mobile-friendly submission process.
• Can the mosaic be shared on Instagram?
  If arranged your guests can receive an email containing a personalized video displaying their photo merging inside the mosaic. These videos are optimized to share on Instagram or any other social media site.
• Are there any options to change the background of the submitted photo?
  Our AI green screen capabilities allow your guests to remove the background in their photo upload and select a custom one.
• What are some additional options for my guests to interact with the mosaic?
  You can choose to turn on Facebook “liking” or “sharing,” and you can also enable your contributors to vote for their favorite photos.
• Can I use the mosaic to host contests for my guests?
  We offer top viewed, voted, liked or shared photo contests and find photo contests or sweepstakes where prizes can be awarded to your contributors. This has the potential for a social sharing engine that can cause your Mosaic Masterpiece to go viral.
• What are the different types of sweepstakes or contests I can run?
  Users can be chosen to win prizes at random. We can also run a photo contest where you can judge your contributors’ photos; the selected winner will then be awarded a prize. Both options can happen at the close of the campaign or on a periodic basis. Another option is that we can mark some tiles in the mosaic. When the contributor’s photo lands on that tile, that person wins a prize.
• Can I get a high-resolution version of my final Mosaic Masterpiece?
  Yes, after the completion of your mosaic, we will provide you with a high resolution, full size version of the mosaic JPEG for you to keep or print.
• Can I get a printed version of my final mosaic?
  Yes, after the completion of your mosaic we can print and deliver a physical version of your final Mosaic Masterpiece.
