Keshot's Facebook Event Album Increased Facebook Fans for Circle of Sisters

Circle of Sisters, sponsored by WBLS-FM, WLIB-AM and Inner City Broadcasting, is New York's largest annual expo for women of color. For the tenth year of the event, the Circle of Sister interactive marketing team goal was to build social media buzz to promote the expo, while increasing their Facebook fan base. The team partnered with Keshot Photo Booth to bridge the expo to their social media presence.

Keshot Facebook Event Album: Direct Access to Circle of Sister's Facebook Album

Keshot provided two fully customized photo booths for the Circle of Sisters expo to achieve the goal of increasing the number of followers on their Facebook Fan Page. The photo booths were located in the interactive station of the expo, prepared with Keshot's new and unique social media event solution, Facebook Event Album. This new feature instantly uploads images from the event to Circle of Sister's Facebook Fan Page album. Expo guest were captivated by Keshot Photo Booth and excited to learn pictures upload in real time to their email addresses and Circle of Sister's Facebook page.


Upon visiting the Circle of Sister's Facebook page for the first time, the expo guests had the following experience:

  • Guests were asked to 'like' the Facebook Fan page to retrieve their pictures
  • After liking the Circle of Sisters Fan Page, the guest picture taken at the expo appears above the Facebook photo album
  • Directly from the photo album, the guest has the option to share and/or send the picture onto their Facebook friend
  • With the Facebook share option, users post the picture to their wall and a branded Circle of Sisters post message appears on the newsfeed of their Facebook community

Additional features of Keshot's Facebook Event Album include:

  • Voting capabilities for event to social media contests
  • Direct video uploads from home computers
  • Word-of-mouth marketing with share, send and Twitter buttons on every image
  • Customizable photo album that may include contest rules or a landing page with event information

Results

Keshot's Facebook Event Album increased the total number of Circle of Sisters Facebook Fan Page from 800 to 1200 over two days, and generated social media buzz for the expo.

Metrics

With more than 304 photos taken at the Circle of Sisters event and shared using the Facebook Event Album application, the event message reach was more than 39,500 Facebook users. Keshot's application extended Circle of Sisters brand message beyond the boundaries of the expo.

Total metrics from Two Photo Booths:

  • 452 photo sessions from the photo booth
  • 558 unique email address
  • 1194 views of postcards reviewed via email
