Keshot Brought its Photo Booth to TEDxMIA's Simulcast of TEDGlobal 2011

July, 13th 2011, Los Angeles

Keshot Photo Booth teamed up with TEDxMIA, an independent organizer of TED events in Miami, for the live streaming simulcast of TEDGlobal 2011, an international TED event held in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Keshot and TEDxMIA also created a contest especially for the event, asking users of the digital photo booth to upload their photos and videos to Facebook and then tag as many people as possible in order to win an iPod shuffle filled with TED Talks personally chosen by TEDxMIA curators.

“Partnering with TEDxMIA was a terrific opportunity for Keshot,” said Juan Benavides, Keshot’s CEO. “To partake in a global event that highlights innovation and unique ideas, is ideal for Keshot Photo Booths. Fans are so engaged with this event, now they have an opportunity to extend their experience beyond the event with Twitter Direct and FanCapture.”

The simulcast featured speakers from the third day of the annual TEDGlobal conference, who discussed life in all its forms — from the secrets of biology to the constructs of culture. Attendees of the Miami event were able to watch the live stream on huge screens while mingling among a group of like-minded thinkers who were also interested in the global sensation that is TED. And Keshot’s digital photo booths were there to capture each candid moment and display them in an online photo album. At the end of the event, Keshot provided a database of attendee emails to TEDxMIA, which can use them for future marketing efforts.
